Bolstered by over 10 years of experience in restoration services and entrepreneurship, Dillon Vaughn Rivera is widely respected in his field. Since 2023, he has excelled as the co-owner and executive director of The Crawlspace Crew. In his role, Mr. Rivera works closely with technicians and holds meetings with his team to ensure proper adherence to company protocols. He also manages finances, oversees project completion and quality assurance, and visits clients’ homes to gather feedback on his technicians’ services.
Since he was 17 years old, Mr. Rivera has been part of the restoration industry. He started working with his father, a restoration expert, and helped with marketing. Over time, Mr. Rivera learned the technical side of the trade, becoming a skilled technician himself while also understanding how to handle billing and payroll. After moving to Portland, Oregon, Mr. Rivera founded his own restoration company with a business partner. Later, in early 2025, they bought Mr. Rivera’s father’s company, which has since enabled them to run two locations in Portland and McMinnville, Oregon.
Although he has achieved many career milestones, Mr. Rivera is particularly proud of helping homeowners understand the insurance process and save money. He emphasizes that he has saved homeowners approximately $2 million since beginning his career. He attributes much of his success to having a strong family support system, which has provided him with the resources and encouragement needed to succeed.
Looking ahead, Mr. Rivera plans to elevate The Crawlspace Crew to become the leading construction and restoration company in the region. He also wants to branch into consulting for other restoration firms to share his extensive knowledge and expertise, as well as get more involved in charity work. Instead of only concentrating on his business, Mr. Rivera aims to dedicate more time to helping others and guiding them on their own journeys to success.
