Following in the footsteps of his father, who was also a dedicated physician, Patrick Edmund Matoole, MD, has been treating patients with all kinds of neurological disorders. For the last decade, Dr. Matoole has been serving as a physician and neurologist at Josephson- Wallack-Munshower Neurology, a practice that offers pediatric and adult neurological healthcare services. The facility specializes in Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, brain and spinal cord injuries, and sleeping disorders. Dr. Matoole’s responsibilities within the practice include overseeing hospital coverage for all neurology patients of the group, coordinating with the patient care committee, and treating patients with neurological disorders. Notably, throughout the course of his career, Dr. Matoole has been involved in a number of important studies as a subinvestigator and primary investigator.

With a robust educational background, Dr. Matoole has risen to prominence as a renowned medical professional. Following his acquisition of a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from the University of Denver in  1991 and an MD from the University of Nebraska in 1996, he completed an internship in internal medicine through the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Matoole continued to enhance his skills as a neurology resident at Creighton University, followed by a fellowship in electroencephalography and electromyography at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Matoole is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Today, Dr. Matoole continues his professional development as an active member of the medical community. He is tremendously involved with the Indianapolis Medical Society, the Indiana State Medical Association, AANEM, the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Association. Additionally, Dr. Matoole maintains affiliation with the Indianapolis Medical Society, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Dr. Matoole has always attributed his success to hard work and dedication. In recognition of his many contributions to his field, he has received several accolades as a Marquis Who’s Who Listee, including induction into Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement. He has been the subject of an exclusive interview with Marquis Who’s Who for both a video and radio feature. Furthermore, Dr. Matoole was selected for the cover feature of Marquis Magazine, and received the Distinguished Humanitarian Award and Top Professional recognition.
