Geneste, Jean-Francois 3679577_4003679577 NewsletterJean-François Geneste is a coveted research scientist and educator, who has amassed more than three decades of experience within the aerospace industry. A professor of disruptive innovation at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Moscow since 2017, he has shared his wealth of knowledge with his students while contributing to the advancements in his field through his several articles, books and patents. Prior to joining the Skolkovo Institute, Mr. Geneste was a chief scientist and vice president of Airbus S.A.S. from 2009 to 2017. He formerly served EADS Astrium as a scientifi c advisor and senior manager of innovation.

At the inception of his career in 1999, Mr. Geneste was a senior advisor for Matra Systems. Earlier in his life, he was encouraged by his father to pursue a career in education, having been a practicing physics teacher. Mr. Geneste subsequently sought formal education at École Nationale Supérieure d’ingénieurs de Constructions Aéronautiques (ENSICA) in Toulouse, France, and the Institut de l’Enterprise in Paris.

A prominent author as well, Mr. Geneste recently wrote the 2019 work “Thus Worked Humankind,” which can be downloaded on Amazon.com. Holding numerous patents in the field of aerospace engineering, he has also discovered 50 theorems of mathematics and written two books on theoretical physics, one book on social sciences and one book on philosophy.

Mr. Geneste has always been supported by the encouragement of his wife, who has helped him in the process of founding his own company, WARPA. With the goal of research and industrial development, Mr. Geneste hopes that WARPA will be a source upon which scholars and scientists will rely.
