In high school, Ruth Hadfield Beatrice was convinced to pursue education by a school counselor. Ms. Beatrice always enjoyed working with kids and would often go the extra mile for her students. In order to build up the kids’ confidence she would orchestrate  high quality productions and recruit music and art teachers to help with songs and set design, which helped to motivate students inside the classroom as well. She prepared for her career in education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science from West Chester University, as well as a Master of Science from Marywood College (now University). She has also taken several postgraduate courses at Pennsylvania State University and Temple University.

After serving as an elementary educator throughout Pennsylvania for nearly 30 years, Ms. Beatrice ventured into hypnosis after a relative introduced her to the field. In 1980, she became a certified clinical hypnotherapist through the Philadelphia Hypnosis Union Institute, and later became a certified hypno-anesthesia therapist through the National Board of Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anesthesiology. Today she continues to practice in the field as a clinical hypnotherapist in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
