Demonstrating versatility in several professions, Claude Wells III is well-regarded for his expertise in real estate, investments, local government and sales. Since 2013, he has excelled as the president and managing partner of CS Wells Investments LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah, through which he specializes in real estate, private investments, annuities and alternative investments. While pursuing this venture, Mr. Wells served as a city council member for Riverton City, Utah, from 2019 to 2024, exemplifying his unwavering dedication to local politics.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Wells served in many sales-oriented and executive-level roles, including as a national sales manager for U.S. Vinyl Fence and First Choice Fence Products. Likewise, he served as a general manager for the western region with Rocky Mountain Vinyl Supply LLC and a territory sales manager for Bager Rocky Mountain. Furthermore, he held leadership positions in the medical industry, serving as the director of materials at Bard Access Systems. In addition, he was a material cost engineer and senior buyer for E-Systems Inc., having commenced his professional career in 1978.

Equally dedicated to his community, Mr. Wells previously served as a member of the advisory committee of Point of the Mountain and a member of the Utah Land Authority. Moreover, he served on the boards of such organizations as the South Valley Sewer District, the Association of Municipal Councils, the Riverton Fire Service Area, the Unified Fire Authority and the Redevelopment Agency. In addition, he sat on the board of directors and the board of governors for the American Fence Association, through which he is also a certified instructor.

Drawing upon a bachelor’s degree in business management and coursework in public administration and political science at the University of Utah, Mr. Wells is a lifetime certified purchasing manager through the National Association of Purchasing Management and earned certification through the Federal Acquisition Regulation Government Contracting Program at Georgetown University. Notably, he was a Lloyds of London IS9000 certified auditor.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Wells endeavors to pass down his legacy by writing 10 books for each of his 10 grandchildren. He would also like to spend more time with his family.
