Possessing more than 10 years of professional experience, Mittul G. Amin is a rising leader in the education sector, culminating in his present role as a brand ambassador and graduate admissions committee fellow for The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. As a committee fellow, Mr. Amin maintains responsibility for interviewing prospective students, providing feedback to students based on committee guidelines, and playing an instrumental role in the admission decision-making process.

Impressively, in 2024, every candidate interviewed by Mr. Amin was admitted to The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, serving as a testament to his accurate assessment of prospective students and commitment to the university system. Prior to assuming his most recent role, Mr. Amin was a BSI consultant at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2023. Throughout his tenure, he was recognized for going “above and beyond” as a fellow of the graduate admissions committee in 2023 and was awarded for his “insights to action reflections and leadership attributes” in 2021.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Amin was a lead technology sales professional at Honeywell International Inc. between 2021 and 2023, where he previously worked as a lead process engineer from 2018 to 2020, a process engineer III between 2015 and 2017, and a process engineer II between 2012 and 2014. Punctuating these appointments, Mr. Amin was a senior process engineer at Lummus Technology in Houston from 2020 to 2021. While working for Honeywell International Inc., he was honored for “extraordinary service and overall work performance” in 2018, for leading “global office training on digital transformation services and data models” in 2017, and for “outstanding efforts in supporting global offices with digital transformation development” in 2016.

Highly educated, Mr. Amin pursued a formal education at Nirma University in his native India, graduating with an Associate of Science in chemical engineering and a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 2004 and 2007, respectively. After immigrating to the United States, he obtained a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Lamar University in 2009. In 2024, Mr. Amin was honored with a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition to his scholarly efforts, Mr. Amin holds numerous certifications, having most recently been certified in private equity, venture capital and leveraged buyout through Onefinnet Inc. and data science through Dataiku in 2024. In addition, he holds several certifications from the CITI Program, Honeywell International Inc. and Microsoft.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Amin endeavors to establish several organizations, including a hedge fund for investment management, an artificial intelligence and automation business, a technology company committed to decarbonization, and a nonprofit organization to provide free education to children. Academically, he aims to continue helping individuals through writing assistance and coaching.
