Bolstered by more than four decades of professional excellence, Brian Boling is considered one of the true pioneers in the Internet of Things (“IoT”) technology field. Since 2017, he has served as the founder and chief executive officer of Procon Analytics LLC (“Procon”). A connected car company, it has developed its intelligent services platform branded the “Pileus Platform” for rapid scalability into high-volume, cost sensitive and vertically integrated IoT applications. Mr. Boling continues to build on his reputation, as a recent breakthrough within Procon in an artificial intelligence algorithm has enabled Procon to leverage the data collected from the millions of sensors embedded in North American vehicles.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Boling thrived in a myriad of executive-level roles, including as the chief executive officer of Connected Holdings from 2015 to 2017, the director and chief executive officer of Spireon Inc. from 2003 to 2014, and the founder of PROCON Inc. from 2003 to 2011. Additionally, he was the founder of SecureAlert Inc. between 1997 and 2002 and the vice president of new business at Philips from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Boling began his career in a Philips management trainee program in 1980, leading to a 16-year career spanning Asia, Europe, and North America.

Mr. Boling pursued a formal education at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in logistics in 1980 and a Master of Business Administration in 1990.

A valued entrepreneur who began his new business ventures at age 40, Mr. Boling started working with several start-up organizations, thereby inspiring him to establish his own. He is particularly proud of his natural ability to start new businesses, developing them from the ground up until they attain a level of success. To wit, Mr. Boling is well regarded for taking each of his ventures to profitability and subsequently selling them to strategic buyers. He notes that since his many corporate years, he has transformed into a serial entrepreneur who thrives on collecting great people and transforming the team into a leading IoT solution company in that space.

Mr. Boling was inspired by his father, Dr. Edward J. Boling, who was the president of the University of Tennessee for 19 fruitful years and the state director for the State of Tennessee for eight years. In accounting for his own success, he credits his innovative nature and love of working with others. In the coming years, Mr. Boling endeavors to apply blossoming artificial intelligence applications to his business ventures to ensure future success.
