Drawing upon several years of professional experience, Brad A. Freeman is distinguished in the field of civil engineering. He recently joined ABACI Consulting in November 2023 as a project manager, having formerly served at Olsson Associates in Des Moines, Iowa, as a project construction manager and a project manager beginning in 2013, where he specialized in land development. In his position at Olsson Associates, Mr. Freeman was responsible for traveling to construction sites, liaising with contractors and overseeing engineering matters on site premises. Mr. Freeman’s tenure arose following his receipt of a Bachelor of Science in natural resource and environmental engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in civil engineering, both from Kansas State University in 2012.
Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Freeman has served as a member of his local chapter of Toastmasters International. He has further thrived in volunteer roles with the United States Department of Natural Resources, Habitat for Humanity and the Blank Park Zoo, as well as contributed to his community by overseeing student interns at Olsson Associates.
In light of his myriad of professional accomplishments, Mr. Freeman has experienced several standout moments in his career. To this end, he is particularly gratified by his participation in mentoring high school students through the Center for Advanced Professional Studies in Kansas City. As such, he credits the support of his colleagues, family and friends as factors leading to his present success. In the coming years, Mr. Freeman intends to expand the scope of his involvement in the engineering industry and escalate to a higher executive-level position. Ultimately, he would like to ensure that the work he conducts positively impacts his community.
