The president of Wealthmaker$ since 2009, T. Jay DiBacco formerly served the organization as president and chief executive officer from 1999 to 2005 prior to acting as the regional vice president of Ohio National Financial Services from 2005 to 2009. Prior to these illustrious roles, he served Hi-Plains Financial Services Inc. as a senior associate, as well as Security Mutual Life Nebraska as an advanced underwriter. Commencing his career in academia, Mr. DiBacco was a music teacher at St. Agnes Academy from 1976 to 1977 and Gering Public Schools from 1977 to 1979.
Mr. DiBacco is a past local president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a registered principal through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Civically involved as well, he sat on the advisory board of the Regional West Medical Center Foundation and maintained involvement with the Boy Scouts of America in multiple capacities, including as a district commissioner. Much earlier in his career, he was an adjunct faculty member at Western Nebraska Community College and the founding president of the Panhandle Estate Planning Council. In addition, he has maintained affiliation as a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association, the Military Officers Association of America, and the National Guard Officers Association.
Married to his wife Nadine for many years, Mr. DiBacco often cites his partnership as the most important achievement in his life. In his spare time, he enjoys making wine. In addition, he is a prolific musician, having played in the United States Army Band and sang with the Pathfinder Chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Other hobbies include studying history, traveling, and taking photos.
