Daniel F. DiFonzo

Since Daniel F. DiFonzo was a child, he has always been interested in electronics. He is currently the president of Planar Communications Corporation, a position he has held for nearly three decades. As a qualified engineer, he holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from Villanova University and a Master of Science in engineering from California State University, Northridge. He has consistently contributed to his field through scientific pape rs, chapters, books, and short courses.

Mr. DiFonzo holds several patents for an interference reduction circuit, phased array antennas, and mobile satellite antennas. As a testament to his professional prowess, he was honored with the Innovation Award from COMSAT, Inc. In addition to his practical work in engineering, Mr. DiFonzo has also been a consultant in the field, served on panels, and previously acted as an alternative representative for the Industrial Research Institute from 1985 to 1989. In his spare time, Mr. DiFonzo enjoys photography and golf.
