Retiring in 1992, Carlton Morin most recently served as a private investor in his private practice in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, beginning in 1986. Prior to this prominent role, he served in several capacities for the Congoleum Corporation, including as a vice president of corporate development from 1983 to 1986, vice president of the treasury and administration from 1980 to 1983, vice president and treasurer from 1979 to 1980, and treasurer and assistant treasurer from 1975 to 1979. Previously, he served Interlake, Inc., as an assistant treasurer, Todd Shipyards Corporation as the assistant to the controller, and Abex Corporation as a tax manager. He commenced his career as a tax accountant for the International Nickel Company, Inc., in New York City in 1956.

Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Morin held the role of chairman of the Piscataqua Savings Bank from 1991 to 1992 and was on the board of directors of Kinderworks Corporation and Casco Bay Gear and Apparel. He continues to act on the ad hoc committees of the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club, where he aids in restructuring the governance of the club. Mr. Morin enjoyed delving into senior management, where he witnessed all of the aspects of management and how they intertwined.

To prepare for his career, Mr. Morin pursued formal education at the University of Maine in 1954, when he received a Bachelor of Arts. He concluded his career at Seton Hall University, earning a Bachelor of Laws in 1964. A native of Ashland, Maine, he is the son of Leo Joseph and Leona Nadeau Morin. Married to Anne Hughes, he is the proud father of three children: Catherine, Cynthia and Bruce. He currently resides in the quaint town of Boothbay, Maine, with his wife and children.
