Daniel H. Richland, Esq., is a seasoned civil and appellate litigator with extensive experience in a vast range of real estate, mortgage and tax foreclosure, civil and commercial litigation throughout New York State. Employed as a principal and an attorney with Richland & Falkowski, PLLC since 2015 and 2016, respectively, he dedicates his time and expertise to representing clients with the utmost professionalism and compassion. Having garnered years of familiarity with an array of legal areas, Richland & Falkowski, PLLC understands the importance of legal matters in regard to their clients’ business, professional and personal lives.

Prior to founding Richland & Falkowski, PLLC, Mr. Richland was an attorney at law and shareholder with Paykin, Richland and Falkowski, PC, from 2013 to 2015. He formerly served as a claims counsel with the Old Republic National Title Insurance Company in 2013. Previously, he was an attorney with the Law Office of Gregory S. Lisi, PC from 2012 to 2013 and a title officer with the First American Title Insurance in New York, LLC, First American Financial Corporation from 2006 to 2007.

To prepare for his illustrious career, Mr. Richland pursued a formal education at Western Connecticut State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in political economy and political science in 2004. He concluded his education in 2007,  receiving a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He was formerly admitted by the Connecticut Bar Association and is currently admitted through the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Richland attributes his success to his tender care and empathy for his clients. He believes that each case should be handled with openness, honesty and transparency. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the legal industry, he was named a NYC Metro Area Rising Star from 2015 to 2017. Mr. Richland follows the philosophy of Sun Tzu, who states, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.”
