Reverend Mary Saurer-Smith has been serving as a devoted teacher of spiritual principles for over 40 years, and is also the author of several books, such as “A Comparison of World Religions,” “The Master Teacher Within,” and “Reality, A Journey Through Time.” In her autobiography, “Journey of A Mystic,” she tells of an amazing  vision at age 3 that led her to dedicate her life to spiritual leadership.

Years of travel, meditation, and research, followed by study and preparation, led to serving four years in middle management at Silent Unity for the Unity School of Religious Studies in Missouri. In 1990, she relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she founded the Christian Mystics and Metaphysicians Society. As founder, teacher, and counselor for that organization, she designed and taught a variety of courses based on her progressive revelations and discoveries. Between 1990 and 2009, she taught thousands through both local and online classes, trained and ordained 12 CMMS ministers, and set them free to teach her message according to their understanding.

Simultaneously, Rev. Saurer-Smith was employed by Hospice of Green County in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a Bereavement Coordinator, Director of Volunteer Services, and Director of Chaplain Services over a period of 12 years. She retired from hospice services in 2001 to focus full time on her ministry and writing.

In 2009, Rev. Saurer-Smith married Reverend Lawrence (Tony) Smith, and they officially changed the name of her organization to the Keys to Enlightenment Program, an international independent New Thought organization. Together, they offer a variety of courses designed to escalate the spiritual evolution of members.

Rev. Saurer-Smith is listed in the 2000 edition of Who’s Who of Professional Women and the 2010-2011 editions of Who’s Who of American Women. She has two adult children, Kenneth Hines and Gina Buckner. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, having small dinner parties with friends on the spiritual path, hiking, homemaking, practicing yoga, writing, and spending time with her husband.
