Since 2017, William “BJ” Joseph Lascor Sr. has thrived as the owner of Lascor Enterprises, a company specializing in real estate investments and related business ventures. With a steadfast commitment to entrepreneurship and helping others, Mr. Lascor’s business acumen is characterized by his willingness to learn from both successes and failures, which have served as the basis for his professional development throughout his career.
Mr. Lascor recently established the Young Gentlemen of Valor, a separate entity supported by Lascor Enterprises that guides young boys in ninth through 12th grades in developing essential life skills, such as etiquette, financial literacy, and basic tool and automotive knowledge. The four-year curriculum is well-regarded for teaching young students many skills critical to success in contemporary times. With its initial operations in person, the program is currently being developed for online distribution to reach a broader audience.
Concurrently, Mr. Lascor has served as the co-owner of Training Society Denton since 2022 and vice president of Silver Lining HCS LLC since 2016. Earlier in his career, he served as co-owner and operator of Precision Privacy and Stain from 2017 to 2020, leveraging his business management skills to deliver services to a wide range of clients. Likewise, he served as a warehouse agent at Expeditors from 2012 to 2015 and as a supervisor at Team Sheetmetal from 2004 to 2010, having commenced his career years earlier within the fields of painting, landscaping and trim carpentry, among others. He also holds a certificate in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration from ATI.
Outside of his professional obligations, Mr. Lascor coaches at Liberty Christian Preparatory School and has volunteered his time and efforts to his local Lions Club and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In the coming spring, he is looking forward to participating in an international mission trip to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. In accounting for his success, Mr. Lascor credits his faith in God and the embodiment of Christian values in both his personal and professional life. To this end, he is an active member of his local church, New Beginnings, where he also leads the security team.
In the coming years, Mr. Lascor intends to expand the Young Gentlemen of Valor’s scope by developing classroom-based programs available both in person and online. Ultimately, he wishes to create a lasting legacy for future generations to follow while leading by example.
