
Jamey Lester is well-regarded for his tenure in political consulting and fundraising. Since 2016, he has served as the principal and founder of Lester Consulting, LLC, where he works with federal super PACS, political campaigns and various nonprofit organizations with their fundraising efforts. Drawing upon more than 10 years of professional experience, Mr. Lester has maintained dedication, expertise and commitment to his work that has propelled him forward throughout his career.
Earlier in his career and concurrent with his present role, Mr. Lester served as the major gifts officer at National Right to Life between 2023 and 2024, leading all fundraising operations for the nonprofit organization. Notably, he helped to raise over $1 million in just seven months. Likewise, he was the manager of development at the American Legislative Exchange Council from 2021 to 2023 and a political strategist at The Lukens Company from 2019 to 2021, where he also managed several congressional clients. Furthermore, Mr. Lester was the regional political director for Byrne for Senate in 2019, the deputy national field director at the Congressional Leadership Fund in 2018, and the deputy campaign manager for Georgians for Belle Isle from 2017 to 2018. Previously, Mr. Lester was a field director for the Congressional Leadership Fund in 2017 and a junior consultant for Jeb from 2015 to 2016. He commenced his career in 2014 with internships with U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions and the Family Research Council.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Lester attended Huntingdon College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in history, with double minors in political science and religion, in 2015. In accounting for his longstanding success, he credits his resilience, keen ability to navigate various challenges and healthy work-life balance, in which he has dedicated himself to not just his profession but also his family and faith.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Lester aims to grow his company’s revenue and hire additional associates to focus more intently on client retention and satisfaction. Outside his professional responsibilities, he enjoys playing golf and was named an Academic All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America in 2014.
