Well-versed in insurance services, Parita Patel is the owner of Parita Health LLC. Establishing her insurance practice in 2021, she is responsible for overseeing 85 agents, training and developing leadership teams, and fostering growth within her organization. Recently opening a new office in Tampa, Florida, Ms. Patel endeavors to continue the growth trajectory and empower others to achieve significant financial success through their work. Impressively, she was recognized as the leading insurance sales agent in 2022, breaking several sales records and becoming the first woman to achieve such an accolade in what is typically a male-dominated industry.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Patel worked for Target between 2011 and 2013, first as a merchandise planning business analyst before being promoted to merchandise planning senior business analyst. Subsequently, she served as an associate planner for Charming Charlie between 2013 and 2015 and as the chief operating officer of 4U-Fitness, LLC, between 2016 and 2019. Prior to commencing her career, Ms. Patel pursued a formal education at the University of Florida, receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management in 2011. She also earned a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
As a testament to her success in insurance services, Ms. Patel earned the #1 Insurance Personal Producer of the Year Award from the U.S. Health Group in 2022, underscoring her commitment and dedication to insurance. Looking toward the future, Ms. Patel has several ambitions, including creating a platform to empower women at all stages of their lives and careers through classes in areas such as sales training – an underrepresented field for women. This new initiative, tentatively titled “Team Everything,” will enhance women’s leadership skills in industries that are traditionally male-dominated, providing a community where women can learn from experienced leaders in a supportive, inclusive environment.
In addition to her goal with “Team Everything,” Ms. Patel endeavors to leverage her platform to support critical causes, including combating child sex trafficking. In this regard, she plans to allocate proceeds and organize events dedicated to this mission, which reflects her unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact on other individuals’ lives. In the same vein, she would like to write a book and establish a nonprofit organization focused on addressing child sex trafficking, demonstrating her strong sense of responsibility to contribute to its resolution.
