A respected leader in the field of neuroradiology, Dr. Harish “Hash” C. Chintapalli has served the VA Medical Center in Houston for several years. In his prestigious role as a neuroradiologist, he maintains responsibility for evaluating and diagnosing disorders of the brain, head, neck, and spine. Additionally, he collaborates extensively with other subspecialties, including neurosurgery, neurology, and hematology-oncology. Alongside his primary efforts, Dr. Chintapalli is an assistant professor in radiology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
To prepare for his pronounced career, Dr. Chintapalli pursued a formal education at Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in biology in 1992. He went on to receive a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1997. Initially inspired to enter the field of medicine by his father, a retired physician, Dr. Chintapalli began his career in private practice. Subsequently, he joined the VA health care system after accruing many years in the field and garnering a wealth of professional knowledge.
To remain abreast of developments in his field, Dr. Chintapalli is actively involved in a myriad of multidisciplinary tumor boards, conferences, and continuing medical education.
Outside of his primary career goals, Dr. Chintapalli is a doting father of two daughters. He spends much of his spare time with his family. Looking toward the future, Dr. Chintapalli desires to witness the continued expansion of his career, positively impacting patients’ lives. Furthermore, he wishes to be a figure of inspiration for his daughters and help them pursue their ambitions.
