Drawing upon more than 15 years of professional experience, Tyler J. Putnam is a distinguished figure in the fields of architecture, engineering and building intelligence. Since 2024, he has served as the head of solutions engineering at Integrated Projects Technology Inc., a startup organization that is rapidly expanding. In his unique role, Mr. Putnam maintains responsibility for offering and overseeing efficient turnkey solutions for digitizing the built environment, which includes buildings, roads and other components of infrastructure. In addition to architectural practice, Mr. Putnam dedicates his time to serving at the helm of a fabrication company. Furthermore, he teaches architecture at his alma mater, the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Putnam served with Microdesk Inc. in several capacities, joining the company in 2017 as a solutions specialist. Remaining in that role for seven years, he concurrently worked as a client success manager at the company between 2019 and 2024. Previously, Mr. Putnam was a design technology manager at Robert A.M. Stern Architects from 2014 to 2024 and a consultant with Shigeru Ban Architects from 2011 to 2013. He commenced his career in 2010 as an architectural intern at KPF, where he remained for two years.

The recipient of a Bachelor of Architecture from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, which he earned in 2011, Mr. Putnam is a registered architect in New York State. Among the many highlights he has experienced during his career, he is particularly proud of contributing to numerous intricate and challenging projects for a wide array of companies, focusing on projects in New York and overseas. To this end, he was crucial in guiding teams through complex developments of various projects, such as the renowned Hudson Yards in New York. The project, which spanned from 2017 to 2021, was noteworthy for holding the title of the largest construction project in the Northern Hemisphere for six years. The project’s magnitude involved managing comprehensive teams, navigating through consultants and addressing complex political considerations, rendering the project a remarkable achievement in construction and architecture.

In accounting for his success, Mr. Putnam credits the unwavering support and encouragement of his parents and the strong network of family and friends that has been instrumental in his achievements.
