
Possessing more than 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Stacey A. Voigt is highly regarded in the fields of higher education and academic administration. Since 2023, she has excelled as a lecturer and field supervisor at Baylor University, where she dedicates two days per week to teaching and engages with student teachers when she is not lecturing. As part of her routine responsibilities, she observes the progress of student teachers and provides coaching services and collaboration with their teachers. She also participates in meetings related to the school system.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Voigt served as the director of elementary curriculum at the Midway Independent School District from 2021 to 2023. During her tenure, she was instrumental in forming the district’s educational strategies and aiding in the implementation of curriculum standards. Likewise, she served as the principal of South Bosque Elementary School from 2017 to 2021, where she mentored assistant principals on their career journeys toward becoming principals. Dr. Voigt commenced her career in 2002 at Heritage Elementary School, where she was a school principal until 2017.
As a testament to her success, Dr. Voigt was honored with the Leadership Waco award in 2023-2024. In accounting for her success, she credits the influence of her father, a retired colonel of the United States Air Force whose career frequently required her family to relocate during her childhood. During these times, she was taught the values of adaptability and resilience, traits she has carried throughout her career.
Dr. Voigt holds a Doctor of Education in educational leadership from Southern Methodist University, which she earned in 2019. Married to her husband, Mike, since 1999, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and exercising in her leisure time. Looking toward the future, she endeavors to teach in a university on a full-time basis while concurrently contributing to the growth of others through education and mentorship.
