Rob Davis has demonstrated diversity throughout his professional career, culminating in his present roles as the founder and managing partner of RD Creative Group LLC and as the founder and chairman emeritus of the nonprofit organization, Help for Children (HFC). Drawing upon nearly 50 years of excellence in the financial services industry, Mr. Davis is also highly regarded for his expertise in investment banking, institutional equity sales, investment strategy research and brokerage services. Likewise, he is a published author, singer-songwriter and cabaret performer.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Davis obtained his Series 7 license with Merrill Lynch in 1975 and worked for several leading companies in investment banking and brokerage, including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Oppenheimer. During his longstanding tenure in finance, he conducted investment strategy research to identify industries poised to outperform the market. Having recently departed from an investment strategy research company, with which he was affiliated for a decade, Mr. Davis has allocated his time fully to HFC, where he has collaborated effectively with prestigious universities across the nation to tailor initiatives to the unique circumstances of their local communities. Notably, by placing students as interns in these areas, HFC gains valuable insight into the social service organizations of those regions.
Furthermore, as an author, Mr. Davis has written and published several books, including the 2018 work, “What Goes Around Comes Around: A Guide to How Life REALLY Works.” Two years later, he also published “Thoughts to Live By: Meditations that Heal.” Impressively, he was a front-page feature in the metropolitan section of The New York Times in 2024 for his work titled “He Took His 68-Year-Old Secret to Court and Finally Confronted His Ghost.” Currently, Mr. Davis is working on publishing a third book, tentatively titled “American Hero: How the Revolution was REALLY Won.”
In his personal life, Mr. Davis helped raise seven children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His avocational activities include exercising, biking, writing, playing the guitar, singing and performing cabaret. Looking toward the future, Mr. Davis intends to further the growth of HFC and continue his endeavors in singing and songwriting.
