Drawing upon more than 35 years of professional experience, H. Len Musgrove Jr., Esq., is well-regarded in the field of law. Founding Musgrove Law Firm, P.C. in 2012, he has leveraged his background as a certified public accountant to help business clients who require legal advice related to financial transactions and issues. He has represented several privately held national and regional companies, publicly traded companies, limited partnerships, general partnerships and limited liability companies, including real estate developers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, oil and gas operators, commercial lenders, nonprofit organizations and health care providers. As such, Mr. Musgrove boasts extensive experience in complex mergers and acquisitions, federal and state business taxation planning income, complex estate, gift tax planning, tax-free reorganizations of privately held entities, and commercial real estate and multi-family residential properties.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Musgrove was a managing partner at Bellinger & DeWolf LLP between 1997 and 2012. Prior, he served with Arter, Hadden & Witts (later known as Arter & Hadden), focusing his attention on business and tax transactions, and was an oil and gas securities lawyer with Lynch, Chappel, Allday and Alsup for three years. In the early 1980s, he also served as a certified public accountant and was an oil and gas audit specialist in the Dallas office of Ernst & Whinney (now known as Ernst & Young LLP).

Mr. Musgrove earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in 1981 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1986. Admitted before the Supreme Courts of Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri, he is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Missouri State Bar. Lending his time and expertise to his community, Mr. Musgrove has been the president and member of the board of directors of BYO Musicians. He is a past chair of the board of directors of the New Conservatory of Dallas, an advisory board member of TexProtects, a former board member of the Dallas Summer Musicals Guild, and a member and former chair of the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas PHorum. Moreover, he is a former president and past board member of Big Brothers and Sisters of Midland and a past board member and director of the Heartbeat 5K Race.

Although he has experienced many career highlights, Mr. Musgrove is particularly proud of his family, including his wife, Pamela, and two daughters, Madison and M’Lynn. Emphasizing that his family is his greatest achievement, he is also proud of building a substantial law practice that enabled him to establish his own firm. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue supporting his family in their endeavors and witness the continued growth of Musgrove Law Firm, P.C.
