Since 2023, Kevin Vought has served as the owner and president of Key Clinic Data Professionals (also known as KCD Pros, LLC). Establishing the consulting firm after accruing more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of engineering, Mr. Vought utilizes over 20 unique metrics to assess the strengths of his customers’ health care clinics, thereby leveraging the information to guide growth and innovation. Alongside this task, he uses a predictive modeling tool he wrote to analyze the impact that various operating parameters have on net profit. Concurrently, Mr. Vought has served as a senior professional engineer for the Southwest Florida Water Management District since 2022, where he is responsible for managing projects and assembling requests for proposals (RFPs). Currently, he has an RFP for a saltwater intrusion model for the Southern Water Use Caution Area.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Vought worked alongside his wife, Jill Vought, at Communication Corner and More!, Inc. (CCAM) from 2014 until they sold the business in 2021. Starting the pediatric health care clinic as a one-person therapist practice, they evolved it into a multi-million-dollar facility. To wit, Mr. Vought’s experience with CCAM laid the foundation for his subsequent endeavors with KCD Pros, as he used the early stages of the CCAM’s data analysis and predictive modeling to apply to his current work with KCD Pros. Throughout his career, Mr. Vought also worked as a senior hydrogeological engineer for Hatch, a technical leader of the water resources management team for DHI Water and Environment Inc., an environmental engineer for CDM, and a senior project engineer II and director for BBL/ARCADIS. Notably, he also worked as a managing engineer with Coastal Engineering Consultants Inc. He commenced his career as a hydrogeologist with SAIC in 1998, remaining there until 2003.

Mr. Vought graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics from the State University of New York at Oswego and earned dual Master of Science degrees in civil engineering and nuclear engineering from The Ohio State University. Notably, his graduate studies were funded by a fellowship provided by the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management of the U.S. Department of Energy, which also provided him with the opportunity to conduct research at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Becoming a registered professional engineer through the Florida Board of Professional Engineers shortly thereafter, he was notably inducted into the national honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Pi Sigma.

As a testament to his success, Mr. Vought has earned numerous accolades. For his outstanding professional accomplishments, he won Employee Awards from the Southwest Florida Water Management District and CDM. Although he has experienced several career milestones, he is proud to have been selected as the director to lead the GoldSim modeling program at Hatch. He also earned recognition from the Arizona and Nevada Departments of Natural Resources for his groundbreaking work in atmospheric dispersion modeling.
