Leveraging nearly two decades of professional excellence, Brianna Jackson is well-regarded for her expertise in mechanical engineering, management consulting, project management and military service. Since 2022, she has served as the founder of Sonas LLC, a firm through which she works with owners, founders and executives of mid- to large-sized corporations to ensure team empowerment and success. To this end, Sonas LLC helps organizations set a vision and mission to formulate strategic frameworks to accomplish objectives. Her training programs focus on overcoming such challenges as unconscious bias to reduce professional self-sabotage.

Adjacent to her primary venture, Ms. Jackson has also been the co founder of Rooted in Resilience since 2024 and the owner and chief executive officer of CanDo! Consulting since 2020. Prior to starting her own business, she served as a program manager for CH2M (now known as Jacobs) in Englewood, Colorado, between 2016 and 2017. Ms. Jackson’s career was born from her academic journey, having received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 2005. Prior to becoming certified as a professional engineer in the state of California in 2015, she also earned a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of California Berkeley in 2013. Ms. Jackson holds several other credentials, most recently as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in 2020.

Notably, Ms. Jackson has lent her expertise to several articles over the course of her career. Published in The Military Engineer, she co-authored “Managing for Tomorrow” in 2014 and “Integrating Envision Principles in Installation Master Planning” in 2017. Furthermore, she maintains professional alignment with the Defense Acquisition Corps and the Society of American Military Engineers, drawing upon her experience as a civil engineer corps officer in the United States Navy.

The proud mother of four children, Ms. Jackson allocates much of her spare time to serving as an administrator and social media marketing manager for Kaneohe Junior Knights Football. She previously served as a den mother with the Boy Scouts of America and was a head coach for various youth sports. Outside of her professional career, Ms. Jackson enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and gardening. Looking toward the future, she aims to continue advancing in her career and helping other companies thrive.
