Drawing upon nearly 40 years of professional excellence, A. Shawn Gordan is recognized as a distinguished educator, teaching metaphysics through Divine Metaphysics for many decades. Supported by his own independent research in metaphysics, as well as in the fields of psychology and sociology, he has become a renowned expert in the subject. Notably, metaphysics is described as a branch of philosophy that studies the fundamental natures of reality, including such principles as existence, identity, consciousness, space and time, and actuality. Mr. Gordan’s parents were metaphysics teachers themselves, leveraging the subject to teach theological classes, thereby introducing Mr. Gordan to the area of study.
Mr. Gordan is also supported by an associate degree in computer science, which he received from Collin County Community College. Adjacent to his professional endeavors, he enjoys dedicating his spare time to local community initiatives, such as volunteering at food drives and donating funds to charitable organizations on local, regional and global scales. To wit, Mr. Gordan has earned the affectionate moniker of the “Street Angel” in light of his assistance to hundreds of individuals to help them take control of their lives and live to their fullest potential.
Mr. Gordan derives much fulfillment from teaching metaphysics, notably instructing on the subject through a scientific lens rather than the religious lens his mother and stepfather taught. In this regard, he is especially proud of his two children, Crystal and Joshua, emphasizing that becoming a father has been his greatest accomplishment. His daughter Crystal is cementing his legacy by carrying the torch of metaphysics to younger generations, having graduated from his advanced metaphysics course with her eyes set on serving as a spiritual coach in his future courses.
Mr. Gordan aims to continue working as a metaphysics educator in the coming years as he remains steadfast in his commitment to impart knowledge to his philosophy students. Born in Clearwater, Florida, Mr. Gordan currently resides in Lancaster, Texas.
