Alex Mazzella, Esq., is a prominent sports media attorney with more than 10 years of professional excellence to his credit. Since 2022, he has thrived as the director of business and legal affairs and legal counsel for FloSports, Inc. In his position, he is responsible for reviewing all rights acquisition and vendor agreements in the realm of data privacy law. Alongside these tasks, Mr. Mazzella examines the organization to identify areas for improvement and works in collaboration with other business teams to mitigate harmful risks.
Driven by a passion for sports, ignited in him when he was a young child playing soccer, Mr. Mazzella naturally developed an interest in sports media and the intricate details of acquiring media agreements. He attended Western New England University, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in international business in 2014. While studying toward his undergraduate degree, he interned at the YMCA of Greater Springfield and the Frank Newhall Look Memorial Park and served as a contest management liaison at Western New England University. After receiving his business and law degrees, he served as a legal associate in business and legal affairs at Aser Media US, LLC and Eleven Sports between 2018 and 2021. He also worked as a coordinator for Major League Baseball from 2021 to 2022 before commencing his present role.

In addition, he notes that he has had the privilege of working closely with dozens of prominent individuals in the sports industry, having first had a former ESPN attorney as a mentor during the formative years of his career. Although he has reached many career milestones, Mr. Mazzella is especially proud of securing a role at Major League Baseball, which was a significant achievement, particularly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and receiving the opportunity to work at FloSports, who is a driving force in the sports community.
