Andrew David Moore is a pronounced name in the field of aerospace engineering, leveraging 15 years of professional experience. Since 2021, he has served with Geometrix, culminating in his present role as a civil engineer II. As part of his routine responsibilities, he performs traffic investigations and visits job sites every few weeks. Earlier in his career, Mr. Moore served as a civil engineer with the Illinois Department of Transportation between 2016 and 2021. He also spent significant time working as an engineering technician in various factory settings. He commenced his career as an intern with Priester Aviation in 2008.

To prepare for his career, Mr. Moore pursued a formal education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering in 2013. He is also a certified professional engineer and has earned credentials in CAD, MATLAB, Microsoft, and programming in C and Java.

Mr. Moore’s pursuit of a career in aerospace engineering stems from early childhood. Notably, in elementary school, he displayed proficiency in mathematics, having completed algebraic equations at the sixth-grade level when he was only in the third grade. Drawing upon a formative love for aviation and space as well, he decided to pursue the field of aerospace engineering as an adult. He was also influenced to enter the industry by his grandfather, an aviator for the Federal Aviation Administration.

A member of the Teamsters Union in his spare time, Mr. Moore aims to complete his master’s degree in engineering in the coming years. On a personal note, he also wishes to purchase his own home. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing board games.
