Robert Lee Brooks, MBA, is an acclaimed figure in the field of structural cabling, possessing over 25 years of professional experience. Since 2018, he has excelled as the founder of Structured Cabling Consultants, LLC in Delray Beach, Florida, where he has specialized in computing hardware, software and infrastructure design. Likewise, he offers specialized services in his area of expertise, such as Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing, certifications and troubleshooting. Over the past few years since the inception of his business, Mr. Brooks’ clients have included such noteworthy brands as Hotwire Communications, Suncoast Communications, Comcast and Palm Beach County Schools.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Brooks served as a project manager with Daou Systems, Inc., from 1997 to 1999, an account services manager with TICS Corporation from 1999 to 2001, and a construction specialist in site development with Sprint from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, he was a consultant with AVI-SPL between 2008 and 2009 and with Wiring.com, Inc., between 2010 and 2013. In the latter stages of his career, Mr. Brooks worked as a director of program management with BST Group II, Inc., from 2014 to 2016 and as an operations manager with The Cable Guy from 2016 to 2018.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Brooks pursued a formal education at Strayer University, where he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in business administration and management with honors. He later earned a Master of Business Administration in business, management, marketing and related support services from the Jack Welch Management Institute in 2013. He has maintained membership with the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society.
Alongside his primary vocational interests, Mr. Brooks has lent his time and expertise to various civic endeavors, including participating in initiatives regarding ocean conservation. Attributing a great deal of his success to his steadfast dedication to his work, he is particularly proud of his role in the FirstNet project, emphasizing that the project is still relevant today. Looking toward the future, Mr. Brooks aims to expand upon Structured Cabling Consultants, LLC with more employees and trucks to service North Palm Beach, Florida.
