Possessing 35 years of professional experience, Ruth Ann Pardo is revered in the fields of nursing and finance. Since 2021, she has excelled as a senior financial investigator with Medical Mutual of Ohio, having also served the institution as a utilization review nurse and a certified fraud examiner since 1997. Earlier in her career, Ms. Pardo was a nurse consultant with Health Matters, Inc., from 1995 to 1997 and served the University Hospitals of Cleveland from 1991 to 1995. She commenced her career as a mental health caregiver with Community Support Services in 1988, serving in that position until 1991.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Pardo pursued a formal education at the University of Akron, receiving a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1991. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in business analytics at Ashland University. To add to her academic credentials, Ms. Pardo also holds numerous certifications in her field, including as an MLC Certified Medicaid Professional through the Medicaid Learning Center, a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders. She is also a registered nurse via the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Among the many highlights of her career, Ms. Pardo is especially proud of helping patients in the cardiac unit when she served as a registered nurse. To this end, she emphasizes that there is no better feeling than witnessing patients leave the hospital in good health. She attributes a great deal of her success to the support and encouragement of her parents, who both instilled in her the value of self-growth.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Pardo intends to complete her master’s degree in business analytics and experience what life has in store following this achievement. Married for over 25 years, she and her husband share three children.
