Supported by 35 years of professional experience in the fields of military service and business management, Ronald H. Alexander has excelled as the business development manager at RMCI, Inc., in Huntsville, Alabama, since 2022. Earlier in his career, he served as an aviator with the United States Army for more than 20 years, having first developed an interest in the field at the age of 13 when he joined the Civil Air Patrol. Impressively, Mr. Alexander was flying independently by the age of 16, obtaining his private pilot license one year later.
Throughout his military career, Mr. Alexander has served as an aviator across the globe in such locations as South Korea, Japan and the United States. First joining as an air officer commanding the Third Squadron at the United States Air Force Academy, he subsequently went on to become a company commander in the United States Army in South Korea. From there, he became an eighth Army aviation officer in Seoul, South Korea, and a 78th aviation battalion commander at Camp Zama, Japan. Logging over 3,500 hours of flight time, he flew several military helicopters, Black Hawks, C-12 Hurons and CH-47Fs.
Returning to the United States, Mr. Alexander was a business development manager for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a resource and financial manager for joint close air support and joint fires at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Likewise, Mr. Alexander served with aviation pilot monitoring for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., Iraq and Afghanistan and was an aviation contracting officer representative for the U.S. Department of State at Patrick Space Force Base in Florida.
For his esteemed military service, Mr. Alexander was honored with the Legion of Merit and a Meritorious Service Medal. Outside of his primary efforts, he was also a teacher with the United States Air Force Academy. Mr. Alexander attributes much of his success to his dedicated work ethic. He is particularly proud of being involved in several business development operations for various advanced avionics programs in the United States Army in Iowa. In the coming years, he intends to continue helping RMCI, Inc., and elevate the company to the next step of its development.
