A rising leader in the field of technology, Broc M. Krietemeyer recently joined American Fiber Network in Teutopolis, Illinois, in 2023 as a network engineer. Previously, he served at SDS Technology in Effingham, Illinois, in 2022 as a technology consultant. Equipped with an extensive educational background, he previously served as an engineering intern with Waupaca Foundry, Inc., in 2021 before completing higher education. Mr. Krietemeyer received an Associate in Applied Science for Management in 2020 and an Associate in Applied Science for Applied Engineering Technology in 2022, both from Lake Land College. He also holds several certifications from Lake Land College, including a Certificate of Business Development, Certificate of Professional Sales, Certificate of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Certificate of Electronic Control Technician.

Notably, Mr. Krietemeyer became involved in the technology industry after completing an information technology networking course during his last semester at Lake Land College. Recognizing the vital need for cybersecurity and information technology networking, he decided to pursue the areas in a professional capacity. As an addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Krietemeyer holds a Comp TIA Network Plus certification and completed the 10-hour OSHA course.

As a testament to his success in his career thus far, Mr. Krietemeyer was named the Technology Division Student of the Year by Lake Land College in 2022. Impressively, he was also named to the President’s List at his alma mater in 2022 for receiving a 4.0 grade point average in all four semesters. A member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Mr. Krietemeyer also developed “Name! That! Gate!”, a Digital Logic Gate game that he designed, programmed, 3D printed and assembled. Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
