At the onset of his professional career, Timothy A. Perry decided to pursue an education with a particular focus on law and government. Attending West Virginia University, he received a bachelor’s degree in 1994. Thereafter, he attended West Virginia University’s College of Law, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1997 and becoming admitted to practice by the Maryland State Bar Association. After receiving his law degree, he worked as an aide, then as chief of staff in the Maryland Senate President’s Office between 1998 and 2006. During this time, he served under former Maryland State Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr., which Mr. Perry considers among the highlights of his career.
Subsequently, Mr. Perry joined the Baltimore law firm of Gordon Feinblatt LLC in 2005, serving as an associate and partner in government relations until 2013. Since 2013, he has excelled as the co-founder, principal and chairman of Perry White Ross & Jacobson Government Relations. There, Mr. Perry specializes in government relations, through which he and his partners represent large, publicly traded companies in the state of Maryland and real estate developers. Some notable clients include AT&T, Procter & Gamble, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., and UnitedHealth Group, Inc.
Outside his primary work, Mr. Perry is a member of the Baltimore Country Club, the Green Spring Valley Hunt Club and the board of visitors of the West Virginia University College of Law. He is also a board member of First Fruit Farms, a charitable nonprofit organization that provides food services.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Perry was named in the Top 40 Power Players list in Maryland. He was also named the Highest Paid Lobbyist and Lobbying Firm in Annapolis, Maryland, on a myriad of occasions. Looking toward the future, Mr. Perry intends to continue expanding Perry White Ross & Jacobson Government Relations.
