Since 2014, Peter S. Phong has excelled as the owner of Chason’s Crab Stadium. Chason’s Crab Stadium is an acclaimed restaurant located in Elk Grove, California, and has received many accolades over the years. Recently featured in the Sacramento Business Journal and highlighted on Newscast Fox 40 in 2022, Mr. Phong and his restaurant were also highlighted on the cover of Asian Pacific American and Living Magazine Today in 2020 and 2021. Earlier, he received the Paul Harris Award from the Rotary Club International Foundation in 2018 and again in 2019.
Impressively, Mr. Phong has leveraged his entrepreneurial spirit to open two new businesses. He is also the owner of Happy Mart in Citrus Heights, California, and is endeavoring to open a new restaurant by the conclusion of 2022, called Hook & Reel, in Elk Grove. Among the many highlights of his career, Mr. Phong is incredibly proud of establishing his own business, having utilized inspiration from his wife’s cooking to transform Chason’s Crab Stadium into the recognizable restaurant it is today.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Phong received an Associate of Arts from a local community college and served as a general manager of a casino for eight years. Outside of his primary endeavors, he sponsors events in his community and was the president of the Asian Club for the Class of 2003 at Valley High School. Furthermore, Mr. Phong maintains membership with the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Elk Grove.
In the coming years, Mr. Phong would like to continue participating in philanthropic efforts in his community. Additionally, he aims to witness the success of all his business endeavors, including his new restaurant, Hook & Reel. Mr. Phong attributes a great deal of his success to his propensity for hospitality and his sincere passion for helping others. To this end, he stresses the significance of networking with like-minded individuals and professionals in the field to improve customer relations and the restaurant industry.
