With over a decade of experience to her credit, Fay Andersson is a rising expert in the field of health and wellness for canines. In 2012, she founded Louie de Coton, her own health and wellness-driven fashion brand for dogs, where she continues to operate as the chief executive officer and chief designer. The company is focused on delivering locally made sustainable, quality and high-performance products for dogs. With products that aim to improve the quality of life and eliminate many of their health and emotional issues, they offer calming dog apparel and bags, cooling apparel with UPF50+, cooling bag liners and other accessories.

Ms. Andersson was inspired to begin the company after she adopted her Maltese puppy, who helped her along her path to recovery following an accident in 2011. Prior to founding her company, she worked in the corporate environment, serving as a senior accounting manager and senior business analyst for various Fortune 500 companies. Adjacent to her professional endeavors, Ms. Andersson has remained active as a nature enthusiast. She is a member of EnviroStars, as well as Seattle Made. A member of the Bellevue Rotary Club, she was named a Rotarian in 2017.

Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Andersson pursued a formal education, beginning at Kapi’olani Community College, where she earned an AA in liberal arts and sciences in 1991. She subsequently continued her studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, receiving a BBA in accounting, with honors, in 1993. Ms. Andersson completed her collegiate career at the City University of Seattle, achieving an MBA in information systems in 2003.

Ms. Andersson was recognized for cultivating the Best Sustainable Dog Fashion Line Brand by LuxLife Magazine in London. She has been featured extensively in various publications, including Shoutout Social in Southern California, 425 Magazine, South Sound Magazine, and Live Radio interviews by Close Up Radio & TV in New York. Attributing her success to her education and ability to listen to her customers, she is especially proud to be making a difference in the lives of others and their pets. Looking toward the future, Ms. Andersson plans to continue growing her brand by offering more health and wellness products to solve dog health issues.
