At the inception of his career in finance in 1972, Kerry Barton Alberti served as the vice president and director of management science at Chase Manhattan Bank. Remaining there for seven years until 1979, he subsequently excelled as the vice president of strategic management Avis, Inc., followed by tenures at the Bankers Trust Company as the senior vice president and at Midland Bank as the managing director of financial services. Until 2008, Mr. Alberti served in similar roles at a myriad of other banks and other prestigious financial organizations. Following this period, he thrived at Young Life as the chief financial officer from 2008 until retiring in 2011. In 2017, he was recognized as a trustee emeritus for Young Life.
Furthermore, Mr. Alberti has lent his time in a civic capacity, having been a board director for such religious organizations as the Chosen People Ministries, the Tyndale Theological Seminary in the Netherlands and the Military Community Youth Ministry. Most recently, in 2022, he was elected as a director emeritus for the Military Community Youth Ministry.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Alberti pursued a formal education at the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. Receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics and a Master of Arts in business, he subsequently matriculated at the Fuller Theological Seminary many years later. In 2005, he achieved a Master of Arts in Theology. To attest to his resounding success in the field, Mr. Alberti was highlighted in Who’s Who in the City in London in 1991 and the 20th edition of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry in 1978.
