Subsequent to receiving a law degree from Georgetown University, Cessaly D. Hutchinson became employed by Legal Shield, Inc., in Ada, Oklahoma, as a sales associate between 1985 and 2013. Formerly serving as an operations manager for Allstate Insurance Company in Decatur, Georgia, from 2011 to 2020, she has excelled as a commercial realtor and recruiter for Aaron Aroyo Real Estate since 2019, where she represents buyers and sellers of highend residential and commercial real estate. In her dual roles, she also works with land development projects in the metropolitan San Diego area. Alongside these positions, Ms. Hutchinson has flourished as chief executive officer of Tahitian Pearl Consultants Inc. since 2000.

Contributing civically to her community as well, Ms. Hutchinson has maintained membership with numerous organizations in an effort to raise awareness of and eradicate human trafficking. She is a member of Safe Kids Now and the National Alliance for Family Court Justice, and has also contributed her time to the District of Columbia Youth Orchestra Program, Beta Gamma Sigma, the Business Honor Society, and the Association of Humanitarian Lawyers.

Recently joining the membership committee for Chapter 17 of California State Retirees, Ms. Hutchinson holds real estate licenses in the States of Georgia and California and draws upon a prior Bachelor of Business Administration, with a focus in accounting, cum laude, from Howard University. Demonstrating versatility in her profession, she has authored or co-authored a number of professional publications, including a book chapter in “Outrageous Marketing” in 2018. She also lent her time and expertise to “Proposition 209 – Affirmative Action” and “An International Treaty for Women: The United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women” through the California State Employees Association in 1995 and 1997, respectively.

A member of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors, Ms. Hutchinson initially delved into her career path due to her love of numbers and sales. Looking toward the future, she intends to design and build her own home by the ocean. She was highlighted in the 72nd edition of Who’s Who in America in 2019, and since 2021, has been serving as the director of the San Diego chapter of Operation Firing for Effect.
