At the inception of his career in 1982, Dr. Jared Steven Videll served as director of employee health services at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center for two years before becoming the assistant director of cardiology at the Pritikin Longevity Center from 1984 to 1987. Soon thereafter, he was the director and a cardiologist in the Clinical Laboratory at Physician Care P.C., as well as the director and co-chairman of intensive care of the Memorial Hospital Cardiac Stress Laboratory for three years until 1990. Subsequently, Dr. Videll served as the director of house staff in the intensive care and cardiac care units at Lower Bucks Hospital from 1992 to 1994 and medical director of the Girard Medical Division of the North Philadelphia Health System from 1994 to 1997. Prior to the conclusion of his career in 2010, he was the chairman of clinical medicine and clinical director at the Girard Medical Center for 13 years.
The author and co-author of several research papers during his medical training, Dr. Videll joined the Army Medical Corp Reserves in 2002, thus retiring as a lieutenant colonel and deputy commander of clinical services (DCCS) of the 48th Combat Support Hospital in Kuwait during Operation Enduring Freedom. Locally, he has also served as the medical director of his local chapter of the American Cancer Society, Inc., and a Pennsylvania state peer reviewer for KEPRO.
Happily married to his wife Sherry Lynn Horowitz, Esq., since 2012, Dr. Videll is the proud father of three children, Haviv, Mikhael and Samara. He also has three stepchildren and 10 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, fishing and spending time with his family.
