After serving in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, Ferol W. Hettick pursued a career in compliance. Always dedicated and hard working, Mr. Hettick earned a diploma from the American Bankers Association Compliance School and Graduate School of Compliance Management as well as an Executive Doctorate of Business from Illinois State University. He is also a certified regulatory compliance manager through the Institute of Certified Bankers. He began his career as a compliance manager with AT&T from 1991 to 1997. He then went on to become director of compliance at the Synovus Financial Corporation from 1997 to 2005. Today, he continues to serve as the director of compliance at the Trustmark National Bank. In his current role, he is responsible for implementing new rules and regulations and reviewing and working on projects. Throughout his career, Mr. Hettick has been grateful to work with Trustmark because the company demonstrates a dedication to compliance and respect.
Civically, Mr. Hettick has participated in several mission trips to Haiti and England with his local church and with Christian Action & Relief for Haiti (CARHA). He currently serves as president of the board of directors of CARHA. In his spare time outside of work, he enjoys reading and watching college football. Looking toward the future, Mr. Hettick plans to retire within the next five years, and to volunteer more of his time with CARHA.
