An esteemed figure in the legal industry, Allan Ernest Floro has accrued more than 30 years of experience as an associate, partner and counsel with Nixon Peabody LLP. Founded in 1983, Nixon Peabody LLP represents manufacturers, investors, and financial companies in aspects of environmental regulation. Additionally, Mr. Floro focuses his practice on environmental law; specifically, in the spheres of hazardous, solid and radioactive waste management and asbestos management, among several others.

In preparation for his illustrious and successful career, Mr. Floro first obtained a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Binghamton University in 1978. He followed this accomplishment with a Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, from Cornell University in 1983, where he was inducted as a member of the Order of the Coif. After practicing law for numerous years, Mr. Floro returned to higher education, completing a Master of Arts in theology from the Northeastern Seminary in 2014.

Admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, Mr. Floro maintains affiliations with numerous professional circles, including Phi Beta Kappa, the Monroe County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

In recognition of his exceptional achievements in the field of law, Mr. Floro has been honored with countless accolades throughout the course of his impressive career. Listed in Best Lawyers in America every year since 2012, he has also been named a Super Lawyer every year since 2011. In 2017, Mr. Floro was additionally named Best Lawyer in Environmental Law in Rochester, N.Y. He holds an AV® Preeminent™ Rating with Martindale-Hubbell®. Looking toward the future, Mr. Floro intends to expand his practice while remaining involved in his community and church.
