With nearly 40 years of experience in the legal industry, Marlo Bush Krueger was formerly the interim reporter of decisions for the Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in 2006. An esteemed lawyer in her field, Ms. Krueger was previously the reporter and assistant reporter for the Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals from 1988 to 1995 and from 1982 to 1987, respectively.
Subsequent to earning her degrees, Ms. Krueger was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 1981. Alongside her career endeavors, she maintains affiliations with numerous organizations, including the American Canoe Association, the Arkansas Canoe Club, and the Association of Reporters of Judicial Decisions. In addition, Ms. Krueger is a lifetime member of such institutes as the Arkansas Historical Association, the Arkansas Alumni Association, Phi Delta Phi and SCHHS, for which she currently serves as a director.
Ms. Krueger has also served the First United Methodist Church of Benton in several capacities since 1985, including on the board of trustees twice, the Rummage Sale Committee, the Debt Reduction Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Stewardship Committee, among other positions. In addition, she is a certified Level 2 River Kayaking Instructor with the American Canoe Association, Wilderness First Aid with the Emergency Care and Safety Institute, and CPR/AED with the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.
In recognition of her exceptional achievements, Ms. Krueger has been awarded numerous accolades over the course of her career. The recipient of the Walter L. Brown Award for Best Family History in a County or Local Journal in 2016, she was also named among the Great Women of the 21st Century in 2006 and received the Devoted Service Award by the Association of Reporters of Judicial Decisions in 1995 and the Best Edited Document Award by the Arkansas Historical Association in 1993, among countless others.
Married to James R. Krueger since 2001, Ms. Krueger became interested in the legal industry as a result of watching the TV series “Perry Mason.” In her spare time, she enjoys studying genealogy and history, fishing, taking photos and kayaking.
