Backed by more than 38 years of professional experience, A. Mark Christopher, JD, has risen to prominence as a leader in the field of law. An expert in probate and estate administration, Mr. Christopher serves as partner of Yates Campbell & Hoeg LLP. He utilizes his extensive experience in elder law to assist incapacitated persons with Medicaid planning, guardianships and disability matters. Truly passionate about his profession, Mr. Christopher is an ambassador for justice as he frequently travels to nursing homes, care facilities and other locations to meet with clients and family members. Located in Fairfax, Va., the boutique firm assists clients with taxation issues, estate planning, business formation and succession, and disputes and expert testimony.

In 1975, Mr. Christopher received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia in 1978. The following year, he was admitted to practice within the state of Virginia, and he has since helped clients with a variety of legal matters, including the design and preparation of estate plans and the preparation of special needs trusts.

In recognition of his hard work and dedication to his profession, Mr. Christopher has received a bevy of accolades, including the President’s Award for Service to Families Affected by Alzheimer’s Disease from the Alzheimer’s Association. He was acknowledged by Best Lawyers, as Lawyer of the Year in Elder Law for the Washington, D.C. area in 2014, and the Washingtonian, as a Top Lawyer in Elder Law. Moreover, Mr. Christopher has been selected to Super Lawyers from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, DC Life Magazine and The Washington Post selected Mr. Christopher as a Top Attorney in Washington, D.C.
