Robert F. With more than two decades of experience in his field, he is highly regarded in the legal community for his experience working at the trial and appellate levels. As part of his nationwide litigation and counseling practice, he has represented industry-leading corporations and financial institutions, including the American International Group (AIG), Arthur Andersen LLP, Comverse Technology, Merrill Lynch, the New York Stock Exchange, Verizon Communications, United Health Group, General Motors Corporation and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. Driven by his passion for law and his expertise in his practice areas, Mr. Carangelo has been recognized in his industry for his professional excellence. He was honored on four consecutive occasions as a New York Super Lawyer, including as a leading securities lawyer.

Within his professional community, Mr. Carangelo is known for his work in a number of industry endeavors. Notably, he served on the nominating committee at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and the executive board for Moot Court at New York Law School. He was also a managing editor of the New York Law School Law Review. When asked of his professional success, Mr. Carangelo notes that his education provided the foundation of knowledge that has allowed him to flourish in his career. To prepare for his career, he earned a Bachelor of Arts at Fairfield University in 1988 and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the New York Law School in 1991. Shortly thereafter, he was admitted to practice law in the states of Connecticut and New York.

Outside of his professional work, Mr. Carangelo participates in civic projects. Notably, he served as chairman of the board of health for the Town of Greenwich and member of the Board of Trustees for the Brunswick School. As he looks toward the future, Mr. Carangelo intends to continue in his professional and civic work. In his own words, he “loves new opportunities and can’t wait to see what comes next.”
