Elaine Susan Gampel prides herself in setting the stage for other women to enter the previously male-dominated industry of finance. An investment services professional with 40 years of experience, Ms. Gampel has the distinct honor of being the first female trainee at Paine Webber Inc. in Denver, Colorado, when she was hired as an investment management consultant in 1977. She served the stock brokerage and asset management firm as vice president until her departure in 1989. Afterward, Ms. Gampel joined Dean Witter Reynolds and fulfilled several roles during her 18-year tenure, including vice president in investments, senior consultant, senior vice president in investments, and wealth adviser. Since 2007 she has been senior vice president of wealth management and senior managed accounts consultant for the Swiss financial giant wUBS.

A certified investment management analyst, Ms. Gampel earned a Bachelor of Science in special education from Boston University in 1972 and a Master of Science in counseling from 1975. Over the course of her career, she has been committed to civic engagement, and served on the boards of The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, the Denver Nuggets, the Denver Post, United Cerebral Palsy of Denver, and most recently Project PAVE. Additionally, she is a member of the Jewish Family Service of Colorado in the governance and investment committees.

As a testament to her success, Ms. Gampel received the Women of Distinction Award from the Girl Scouts of Colorado in 2004 and the Women Leaders of Excellence Award from Colorado Women’s Leadership Coalition in 2003. She has also been featured in Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of American Women.
