Otto Fanini always had the focus to succeed in the field of electrical engineering. An award-winning professional with 25 years of industry experience, Mr. Fanini’s areas of expertise include designing, developing, testing and manufacturing of electrical equipment and products, particularly with oil and gas high-performance drilling. In 2012 he and his team received a Baker Hughes Corporate Award for High Temperature/High Pressure Equipment, which Mr. Fanini regards as the highlight of his career. He continues to excel in strategy planning, sourcing, and problem solving as principal engineer of electrical drilling and evaluation for Baker Hughes, Inc.

Mr. Fanini earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1979, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1982, and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Houston Baptist University in 1986. In addition, he holds a certificate from the Online Trading Academy, and in 2017 he completed Toastmasters International’s Competent Communication program. These certifications enable Mr. Fanini to work with a talented systems engineering group at Baker Hughes, addressing factors such as customer needs, cost, quality, and fulfillment.

Mr. Fanini has remained at the top of his field through her professional affiliations. He is a member of IEEE, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the International Council on Systems Engineering, and the Brazil Press Association. Mr. Fanini is a former president, vice president of memberships, and secretary of Toastmasters International. He currently serves as vice president of public relations for the nonprofit educational organization. Mr. Fanini looks forward to assuming a director’s role with his company on an international level.
