Charles Henry Camp is an international law attorney and legal educator with more than 30 years of industry experience. As president of the Law Offices of Charles H. Camp, P.C., his areas of practice include international debt recovery, international litigation, international arbitration, international negotiation, and domestic debt collection for international clients. Before opening the firm in 2001, Mr. Camp served as counsel at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, partner at Patton Boggs LLP, and as an associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. He entered the legal workforce in 1983 as an associate at Camp, Carmouche, Barsh, Hunter, Gray, Hoffman & Gill P.C.

To prepare for a successful career in law, Mr. Camp attended Louisiana State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics in 1979. Subsequently, he obtained a Juris Doctor at the Wake Forest University School of Law. He later advanced his formal education by acquiring a Master of Laws in taxation from the George Washington University Law School in 1983. An AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell®, Mr. Camp has been an adjunct professor in negotiation, persuasion and influence at Louisiana State University’s E. J. Ourso College of Business Flores MBA program since 2014. In addition, he is also an adjunct professor in international negotiations at the George Washington University Law School, a role he has held since 2005. He has also been named to the listing of Super Lawyer®.

Mr. Camp’s has been admitted to practice with the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Louisiana State Bar Association. Mr. Camp remains at the top of his field through his affiliations with the American Society of International Law, the Meridian International Center, the Washington Foreign Law Society, the London Court of International Arbitration and the International Bar Association, among many more.
