With a Bachelor of Science in geology from Bucknell University and a Master of Education in earth science education from Temple University, Jane E. Grigger has become a dedicated science educator in her field. She is certified as a science teacher for grades kindergarten through 12th in the state of New Jersey and as a secondary teacher for grades 7th through 12th in the state of Pennsylvania. Ms. Grigger began her career as a secondary science teacher in the Bensalem Township School District of Cornwells Heights, PA, from 1970 to 1972. From 1972 to 1975, she was a secondary science teacher for Princeton Regional Schools in New Jersey. Then, for 20 years, she served as the head of the Gettysburg course at Princeton Day School in Princeton, NJ. Most recently, she continued her work at Princeton Day School, teaching middle school earth and physical science until her retirement in 2016. She accrued more than 40 years at the prominent school. In addition to her ventures in education, Ms. Grigger has also served as a photographer at Princeton Day School, where she prepares and edits the photographic slide archives for digitizing.

As a dedicated professional, Ms. Grigger has also extended her expertise as a teacher with the Partners in Education  geology program at Princeton University. Civically, she has been active with the Girl  Scouts of the United States of America as a troop advisor in southeast Pennsylvania and as a photographer for international events. In addition, she was a photographer for Camp Hagan, a girls’ sleep-away camp in Shawnee-on-Delaware, PA. In 2014, she received the Citizenship Award from the camp for her contributions throughout the years. In her spare time, Ms. Grigger enjoys the guitar, the flute, post card collecting, rock and mineral collecting, singing, reading, civil war studies, travel, genealogy and spending time with her family.
