The son of a certified public accountant, Harland L. Mischler is a dedicated investment company executive specializing in auditing, operations, and international company  finance. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Ohio and he holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration, both from The Ohio State University.

Mr. Mischler began his career in 1959 as a manager at Deloitte & Touche, a company that he, his father, and his son all worked for at different points in their lives. He then became the manager of international finance, vice president, controller, and treasurer of Hobart in Troy, OH, where he remained for 15 years. In 1981, he took over a division of Bausch & Lomb, Inc. as vice president of finance, where he was able to stop the loss of money and turn the company around. He then served as the vice chairman and executive vice president of finance at Applied Research Laboratories before venturing into his current roles as chief executive officer and chief operating officer of HLM Capital Resources Inc. in Boca Raton, FL.

Outside of his primary appointments in the field, Mr. Mischler also briefly served on the board of directors and as executive vice president and finance officer of Gradco Systems, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV. Civically, he has been active in his community through his work with the Troy Chamber of Commerce, Stouder Memorial Hospital, the Miami County Hospital Association, and the Ohio State Advisory Council. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Air Force, rising in the ranks to major. Throughout his career, Mr. Mischler has enjoyed solving problems for struggling companies. After working with many different companies, he has come to understand that it’s the people and teamwork that make an organization great.
