A distinguished architect of over four decades, Eddie Guy Ouellette has excelled as an architect with Gray Construction since 2011, having previously served in the same capacity between 1988 and 1993. Prior to this appointment, he was the owner of T&O Designers, Inc. from 1994 to 2010. He commenced his career with the architectural firm Johnson Romanowitz Architects in 1981, remaining there for seven years. In addition, he previously pursued formal education, receiving a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame in 1981.

Although he has experienced several career achievements, Mr. Ouellette is particularly proud of designing the Central Clock Tower at the Student Center of the University of Louisville, as well as designing various buildings for prestigious corporations such as Mercedes, Mars Chocolate, Michelin Tire and Amazon. Among the highlights of his career, he is gratified by the opportunity to have combined three different locations of Hughes Aircraft Company into one facility in Kentucky in only one year. Previously, the locations were dotted across the United States in Carlsbad, California; Lexington, Kentucky; and Newark, New Jersey.

To remain abreast of developments in his field, Mr. Ouellette is a member of several organizations, including the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the American Institute of Architects. Outside of his primary profession, he is affiliated with Habitat for Humanity and was a board member for the Catholic Diocese in Lexington, Kentucky. Additionally, he was a former player representative for the local Little League team in his community and has sponsored graduates in the field of architecture.

In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Ouellette was honored with Project of the Year by the General Contractors Association. Looking forward, he aims to expand his architectural studio in Birmingham, Alabama, before easing into a well-deserved retirement. Notably, in his post-retirement years, he endeavors to buy, repair and resell single-family residences and other properties.
