Drawing upon over 35 years of professional experience, Harold “Randy” Wilson is a leader in the fields of business ownership and real estate. Since 2012, he has excelled as the owner of Sharky’s Place, a community bar and grill located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Notably, Sharky’s Place is considered a staple in the Raleigh community, offering delectable dishes and billiards tables for patrons of all ages. For its success, the restaurant was named Best of the Best in Sports Bars by WRAL, as well as One of the Best Places to Shoot Pool and Best Wings in the Triangle, an honor that was bestowed upon the restaurant for three consecutive years. He was also highlighted in Indy Week.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilson worked as a financial advisor and owner of Wilco Financial for 25 years and served at a marketing and advertising company in New Orleans, Louisiana, for eight years. Likewise, he hosted his own radio show, titled “Mr. Bill Show,” where he offered impersonations of former President Bill Clinton. Demonstrating versatility in his field, he also co-authored a book with Dr. Fred Hatfield in 2016, titled “M.U.L.E.”

To prepare for his career, Mr. Wilson attended Sul Ross State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in history. He subsequently received a master’s degree in history from Texas Tech University. As an extension of his educational credentials, he is also a certified estate planner and licensed in life insurance annuities. He attributes much of his success to the support of his wife, Simone.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Wilson is a former football player and national champion powerlifter. In 1980, he was the winner of the 275-pound class in powerlifting of the Second National Championship in Arkansas, having previously won second place in 1979. Furthermore, he and his wife have invested in several real estate properties, including various rentals, businesses and restaurants.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Wilson intends to witness the continued growth of Sharky’s Place and continue helping his community. A native of Midland, Texas, he currently resides in Raleigh.
