Supported by many years of professional excellence, Jason E. Bartow is well-versed in insurance practices. Since 2020, he has served as the executive vice president of Bartow Insurance. In his role, he maintains responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the office, as well as the commercial lines department for revenue growth and agency production for carriers. Mr. Bartow works directly with his many clients to consult, review and place insurance for their larger accounts. Adjacent to this endeavor, he has served as the owner of the Eugene A. Bartow Insurance Agency since 1999.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Bartow pursued a formal education at Vassar College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government in 1998. Two decades later, he earned a certification as a certified professional insurance agent from the AIMS Society. In accounting for his longstanding success in the field, Mr. Bartow credits his natural ability to help clients understand their business needs from an insurance standpoint.
Congruent with his vocational endeavors, Mr. Bartow has committed time to professional organizations in the realm of insurance, having been the president of New York Young Insurance Professionals since 2015. Previously, he was president-elect from 2014 to 2015, treasurer from 2013 to 2014, secretary from 2012 to 2013, and director from 2005 to 2012. Currently, he thrives in several other positions, including as the first vice president of PIA Northeast, a PIA delegate to the Downstate Insurance Association’s Council, and the vice president of the board of directors of SYJCC. He also served as a committee liaison for Professional Insurance Agents of New York State for six years.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Bartow is civically dedicated to his community. The chair of the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in New York since 2023, he has lent his time and expertise to many athletic associations in New York. Since 2016, he has served as a baseball coach for the Half Hollow Hills Little League, having previously been a board member of the Little League from 2019 to 2022 and a timekeeper for Dix Hills Mites Youth Hockey from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, he has been a Long Island advisory committee member of the UJA-Federation of New York since 2018 and a board member of the Long Island Insurance Division of the UJA-Federation of New York since 2011. Furthermore, Mr. Bartow was an affiliate group chair of JAVC at Vassar College from 2000 to 2005 and an officer and interviewer for the Long Island Vassar Club from 2000 to 2009.
Among the many highlights of his career, Mr. Bartow is incredibly proud of serving in leadership roles with several prominent insurance organizations, which afforded him opportunities to expand the scope of his knowledge and meet with both local and federal elected leaders to review insurance laws. Looking toward the future, Mr. Bartow aims to witness increased success at Bartow Insurance and eventually pass the torch to his children so they can continue the family legacy.
