Supported by more than three decades of professional excellence, Amanda Centilli Boyd is well-regarded in the fields of operations and engineering. Since 2024, she has served as the director of capabilities building at Clarios, a leading manufacturer of advanced battery technologies for the automotive industry. Ms. Centilli Boyd joined Clarios (formerly Johnson Controls) in 1997 as a technical manager, advancing in operations leadership until 2009, when she became the regional launch manager of advanced power solutions. Remaining in that position until 2017, she was then recognized as the director of launch management from 2017 to 2019 and the director of global poly manufacturing engineering in 2019.

From 2020 to 2021, Ms. Centilli Boyd subsequently served as the director of launch and network initiatives, having thereafter been appointed the director of network strategy and development from 2021 to 2022. Before accepting her current role, she was the director of global strategy implementation between 2022 and 2024. Ms. Centilli Boyd commenced her career in 1989 as an engineer with Owens Corning until 1997.

Highly educated, Ms. Centilli Boyd holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Cornerstone University. After accruing many years in her field, she completed an executive training course at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2021. In addition, to remain abreast of developments in her areas of expertise, Ms. Centilli Boyd has been a ManufacturingNEXT committee member at Inforum since 2019. She is also associated with Battery Council International.

Among her many career achievements, Ms. Centilli Boyd is particularly proud of being part of the team that launched the lithium-ion plant in Holland, Michigan. Likewise, she is gratified to have toured with former President Barack Obama in 2011. Looking toward the future, Ms. Centilli Boyd aims to ease into a well-deserved retirement. Ultimately, she endeavors to mentor the next generation of professionals while providing them with the resources necessary to be successful.
